You have to learn from those stupid mistakes, remember that it's not your coin if it's not your key.
You just sign up with an email and then don't have the private key of the wallet you created, or you don't back it up, that's a fatal mistake.

Any mobile wallet will also not be safe if you don't know how the wallet works and how to keep it safe, but the most secure are Hardwallets such as Ledger, Trezor, Safepal etc.

Although it is listed two app stores like google play does not guarantee that the app will be safe, there is always an opening for scammers to enter, and many victims feel disadvantaged.
