It was clear that this strategy and formation was not effective against Fulham, but Ten Hag still tried his luck against Brighton. All they need is Zirkzee and De Light, if not, they will be stuck scoring goals and might even concede another goal. The scenario is De Light replaces Harry Maguire who played badly in the first half and Zirkzee as the solution to their jammed at front line. Casemiro also looks sloppy in making decisions but unfortunately, his replacement has not arrived yet.
Manchester United managed to equalise early in the second half, so far they look tough against Brighton. Garnacho came on for Rashford, also an expected substitution, and I can't yet understand how good ten Hag's decision was to use Fernandes as a central striker, I understand that it may have been a forced move, but how effective is it. Brighton by the way look pretty good, the game gives the impression that a draw would have been a good result for Manchester United, but it's not the end yet, I have a feeling that we'll see more goals.
