apart from what OP said I think we should not gamble when we are in an unclear state such as when we are feeling stressed because of the burden that occurs at work or others, because seeing gambling is a risky game then when we do it with our unstable state of mind it could be that the defeat that is certain to occur in gambling will only add to the problem by making us upset and of course it will provide pressure that can make us even worse, maybe excessive stress. Gambling should be done for fun, understand that losing money is something that is certain to happen, therefore, no matter what defeat occurs, try not to be an additional thought, because when we lose and think too much about it, what will happen is probably like what OP said, namely "getting back your defeat" this is just a path to destruction.
Your point is correct. But unfortunately, not all gamblers strictly adhere to such rules. The fact is that many of them start gambling sober, but when they lose, they lose control of themselves.
After that, such problem gamblers drink alcohol in the hope that they will feel better about the loss. And what's funny is that after that they go to the casino again, and lose even more.
You are right, however, it's our responsibility to not to fall to such temptations, and no one else can help us with that, basically. We are on our own with the beast. And we should overcome it if we want our well-being to stay in good shape.
