It wasn't an easily task anyway at the point which a gambler has exhausted everything they had and was curious to stake his bike in other try his last chance of winning what he had lost led to arguments.
You know, that's the aspect of gambling I don't truly understand. Gamblers seem to lose themselves whenever they come within the radius of gambling activities. The biker's decision to stake what was fetching him a living, knowing he didn't have any other source of earning a living was simply unbelievable. But then, he felt he made a great decision when he did until the loss dawned on him. He should've thought of returning the following day to gamble after he must've toiled to raise the money. I guess that's why the caveat "gamble responsibly" exists.
