I have heard people speculate that thread #3 contained some private information about satoshi, but we will never know the truth. As you can see from theymos' post, he isn't sure either. He says that the topic must have contained satoshi's name and address. He probably never saw the thread either or isn't willing to confirm it in public. I would find it very unusual if someone as privacy-conscious as satoshi posted his name and address on a public forum, but I do believe that it contained some identifiable information, regardless which warranted the deletion.

It was a bad joke from theymos and most likely the topic was a test of the forum's delete feature as topics 1,2,4 were related to the forum test.

Satoshi was shy and from reading emails s/he is not the person who will publish his data before talking about Bitcoin.
