Arsenal sign Chelsea's Raheem Sterling on season-long loan

Arsenal have signed Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling on loan for the rest of the season, the clubs confirmed Friday.

Sterling has three years remaining on his current contract at Chelsea but had been deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge. After previously being linked with Man United, Sterling completed his move to Arsenal just before the close of the summer transfer window.

This transfer came in the final minutes when the transfer windows will be closed. Just waking up to Jadon Sancho loan move to Chelsea and Raheem Sterling loan move to Arsenal. Earlier on, I thought it was going to be like a swap of players on loan for Chelsea and Manchester United, but it was not at all so. It was good Sterling moved to Arsenal, he was not going to be utilized by the coach this season, several reports says that he doesn’t even get to train with the main team. Good that he left, we see what impact he can add to Arsenal this season.

Arsenal are dominating the game and also had more chances than Brighton, they’re yet to convert any of those chances to goal. More than 20 minutes to the start of the game and the scoreline is still levelled. If Arsenal continue with this performance, they’ll soon convert one of those chances that’s if Brighton’s defence is not that strong to withstand the pressure from them and curtail any chances of goal at them.
