Bayern Leverkusen played badly in the second half. I have no complaints about their first-half performance. But, the second half was terrible to watch. Their striker, Boniface has been really really bad in this game. He was unable to make a proper finish after he got a golden chance. And our defense isn't that good. They play so openly. It lets Leipzig exploit gaps in Leverkusen's defense.

Also, the loss to Leipzig has ruined Xavi Alonso's unbeaten record with his team. I was expecting him to reach Pep or Heynckes level, but it was wrong. That's sad Xabi's unbeaten record must end this fast.
www.theguardian.comSo Leverkusen's 35-match league unbeaten run ended by Leipzig.

Well, I think we will just have to accept that we had a little too much expectation from Buyer Leverkusen this season. And I understand why people had these expectations. the team literally did not lose a single match in the last season in the Bundesliga. So it is understandable why people might have thought that they were going to win this season as well. But I think we forgot that they were actually lucky in a few matches in the last season. Seems like it is not going to be the same in the upcoming season.
Leipzig is a good team and they always play very decent football. They are also pretty much in competition for the top four positions in the Bundesliga. So these kinds of performances are not that much unexpected from them, to be honest.
