Also, the loss to Leipzig has ruined Xavi Alonso's unbeaten record with his team. I was expecting him to reach Pep or Heynckes level, but it was wrong. That's sad Xabi's unbeaten record must end this fast.

That's some huge work by Guardiola and Heynckes of course. But doing it with Bayern Munich is easier on paper. I don't mean everyone can do the same though, you know what I mean.

Leverkusen also has really good players but on paper they are still a less valuable team. But it all depends on having a strong team play.  Smiley  I wish Xabi Alonso broke that record as well. It would be unforgettable...
It would have been difficult for Leverkusen to break that record. That record was set by two great managers that football has ever witnessed. Xabi Alonso is still early in his managerial career to be breaking records set by legends of the game. Xabi is destined for greatness in football management. He has already written his name in the history book, by going unbeaten last season. But he can't just take one year or two to break records that it took years for two great mangers to set. These Pep Guardiola and Heynckes didn't achieve this with an ordinary club, they were able to achieve this with Bayern Munich the best team in the league. If it were any minor team like Xabi found himself, I don't think they would have achieved that record. There are records that can't be broken unless one is properly equipped and Leverkusen don't look too equipped with enough squad dept to break that record.
