Since 2019, Mikel Arteta's Gunners have received at least 16 red cards in the Premier league and this is Declan Rice's first red card since he came to the club where he has appeared in over 240 Premier league appearances. That's quite unprecedented regarding how active he has been over the years. His red card yesterday brought an adverse effect on the club allowing J. Pedro of the Brighton side re-equalize.

the card offense would have been easily avoided on a normal circumstance and truth is that he never saw that coming. looking at the scene from a distance, it looked as though he was the one that was fouled not untill they did a review that showed what happened exactly. In my opinion, giving him card knowing that he already hard a yellow card prio to that time wasn't necessary at all. A warning would have been given since the act didn't cause any arm to the guy that was about kicking the ball.

from the way arsenal played Brighton, they deserves a win in that game but it's just bad that we're getting used to seeing them struggling and having these sort of missed chances of winning that eventually hunts them towards the end of the season. Brighton needed the draw and they are even happy that they've manage to draw arsenal. When the season hits up, they will eventually be sent down the table but this chance of getting these points from arsenal will still be to thier advantage. Arsenals hope of winning the premiership has already started taking a down turn seeing the current form of Liverpool and Manchester City. They just have to brace up for the journey ahead of else they might end up far below their spot at the last season.
