I want to believe that I will not be talking off point if I say pre season games are such that we shouldn't be considering with absolute seriousness because I don't think the coaches or the players do take it seriously as well, only a few times does the coach take it seriously ans that is when they are trying to probably observe the players in positions so as ro influence their strategy a d technique they will be using in the new season, so for them it's an extension of their training or probably an intensed version of their training, I'm saying so because even by the records, preseason games do not help rank the teams better and even at some point teams don't use their complete squad for preseason games.

That was in the past. People do take pre-season games very seriously. Like you get to see some players injured in pre-season games and gamblers go as far as betting so much in pre-season games. I think in pre season games a lot of fans are thrilled that the league will soon start so they really want to see what their favorite team has in stock for them. It will determine how well they have improved and if there is hope of going far in the league. Also just like you have said. The coaches do have the time to test the new strategy or combo of players to see how well it will fit them playing. It could be that there are new players he want to try in different positions that is the best time for him. Apart from that, pre-season matches are really interesting winning each of the game will be very good as the fans will be happy to expect a good season when the league starts.
