Sigh, he ought to know him getting a 3 year deal will be hard, no club will be willing to give him such contract even in Europe, maybe Saudi clubs may do but this is from the fact that his injuries record is bad and he has had a poor performance these past seasons, a season with a clause of a year or two increase would have been better. He needs to understand he has to start from somewhere in order to get his career on track.

Just bringing your notice to this part of your post, you accidentally made same statement twice.

Now back to it, I don't think his career in playing in top teams is over, is just that he has to calm down try to reach an agreement with a club and not request for a 3 years contract rather opt for a year with an option to increase further just like David de Gea did in his new club Fiorentina and possibly with a humble wage demand at first. A player who is trying to get their career on track has few options and he needs to be reasonable to get one.

I think it's incorrect to compare De Hea and Marcial, precisely because as you correctly wrote the last couple of years Marcial hardly played at all, was often injured and had no significant impact on the team's play, unlike De Hea who left as a strong top goalkeeper.
Even now Manchester City fans are making video clips of De Hea when he played in the Fiorentina goal against Accademia Puskás and saved Fiorentina from a goal several times, all after 18 months without soccer!
