Ronaldo has rejected millions of dollars because of his reputation, he has rejected alcohol brand advertisement and even ordinary Coca-Cola drink to later request for ordinary water. He has been a role model for many people but I can't say for the family aspect. Messi has been a role model when it comes to family because he is legally married while Ronaldo just recently do some paper work with his partner, though I don't blame him because women are career bender to celebrities.
It doesn't stop the fact that the two guys will remain the most celebrated players of all time. They are still the reason why football is fantastic even though one day we might not see them play again. Despite been at this age, he is still creating value in Saudi Arabia while Messi is doing the same in Inter Miami. It will be very difficult to have any duo like them soon.
You are right dear. Cristiano Ronaldo is great role model because he says no to deals that do not fit his image. But his personal life is not as perfect. Lionel Messi on the other hand is great example of good family man. Even though they are different both Ronaldo and Messi are best football players ever loved by many fans. They will always be remembered for their contributions to football even after they stop playing. They are still making difference in sport with Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia and Messi in Inter Miami. It is hard to imagine another pair like them which makes their achievements even more special.
