Just like last season we have become accustomed to seeing several players returning with injuries in international breaks. And of course this is very bad news for Arsenal considering that Martin Odegaard has an important role in the Arsenal team. With this he had to be absent for several weeks. But fortunately it wasn't a more serious injury that would keep him out for longer. But still we know Odegaard is a very important player in Arteta's plans. So I'm starting to feel sorry for Arsenal right now. Arteta is trying to take this team to a better level but now one of the cogs of their team has to rest due to injury and Arsenal may be competing without Odegaard for a while. I hope he recovers quickly.

I recall those days when Sir Alex Ferguson was coaching Manchester united and in the light of the international break he could just give a white lie about a number of his key players that have sustained injury over the weekend, a strategy just to prevent them from participating in the international break to avoid coming back with any form of actual injuries that may jeopardize his plans for the EPL title challenge.

Hopefully he doesn't stay off beyond two weeks because looking at Odegaard predicament it is potentially going to distort Arteta's initial plans for the time being, and many arsenal fans are worried knowing that their next two fixtures are their major rivals in the league Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, meanwhile Atlanta also awaits in the Champions League and all the matches are to be played this September.

Yeah hopefully for them, martin ordegaard is a really important player for their squad and loosing him now would pose a great deal to the club performance in their campaign this season. The international break is always a time that puts some club into a tight corner because most of their star player due to how intense international football is might sustain injuries that might cost the club a great deal.
