Obviously my choice of placing Manchester United in top 4 is controversial, considering their present performance. But I did consider some things which includes;
1. Manchester United has a better squad compared to last year;
2. Manchester United management might fire Erik Ten Hang in the next few matches if he remains poor. If this happens and a new coach is employed, Manchester United will make top 4. Otherwise, there is no way they will be there with their current coach.
Picking the first ten clubs in the Premier League Competition shouldn't be based on just the recent performance ( which I see a whole lotta people doing ) but should be long term. Manchester United has did good business when it comes to the defense. With consistency Erik Ten Hag with fill up the potholes. They have one of the best depth in defense unlike last season with too many Injuries. Glad to also see Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia joining in soon. There's nothing control.V about placing them there they would be third place at the end of the campaign next season. I won't say they have a better squad but this one would be consistent.
I don't see them sacking Erik Ten Hag. Manchester United fans are just too impatient. Prior to the new season, Erik Ten Hag told the press how the sqaud is not ready. And don't forget, you want change and growth, then you have to give the manager time yes this might be his third season in charge but emphasis on the time. They'll deff start winning soon ( Southampton ) hopefully Garnacho and Amad are the flankers.
I am still surprised, because many people still think that Manchester United has good squad depth and also, about Manchester United's defense line, many people still say that Manchester United has a good or better defense line compared to last season. Because in fact, Manchester United is still bad because so far Manchester United has conceded five goals, and I think that is a bad defense line because the season has just started.
Thus, ofcourse Manchester United still has to improve the quality of their squad depth and also their defense line which is still very weak. So, there is nothing to be proud of with the results that Manchester United has had so far, because they are still bad.
