Yes of course, I agree with what you said that there are good hobbies and bad hobbies, but I will say something from my rational point of view that the good and bad of gambling depends on how much knowledge a person has about the activity, for example gambling, we can see that there are some people who are still fine even though they are involved in gambling and maybe I will simply include them in the list of gamblers who know and understand the positive and negative sides of the activity they are facing.

Another thing I think I will not use the results in the game as a benchmark to conclude whether gambling is a good or bad hobby, don't just see something tempting but also try to think the opposite.

Good point though I like the post above you, what if you managed to win the jackpot and change your life forever, something like winning a lottery, those who always buy tickets and treat it as hobby hoping that one day luck will permits them to win, those kinds of examples are not just a story but it really happens, there are bettors who keeps buying tickets for such a long time and luckily win it and enjoy that kind of opportunity, but moving back, same with what I mentioned, as long as you keep your budget and you are gaining the entertainment that you are aiming for, then it can qualify as a hobby for my own take.
