If he loses the game against Southampton it may be the final straw the breaks the carmel's back. The club has been really patient with him, even after finishing 8th position last season, which is United's worst ever finish in the top flight. They've been very supportive of him and have also brought in new addition to booster the squad. He has a talented team that can compete for major trophies and at the highest level. He has no excuse this time around than to do better.
There is no need to expect more when Manchester United play away because currently they are not consistent, Southampton is indeed a weak team that has always lost in the last 3 matches but Manchester United has a reason to draw because they are playing away.
