The fact that coaches take the blame for each loss the team has just something that keeps me up wondering sometimes because clearly it's not just the coach that has the part to play but even the players yet only the coach gets sacked when the team loses.

For Manchester United there are lots of fact that contribute to the team not performing well and in my opinion the coach shouldn't take the blame only but including the players, so if Southampton gets to win Manchester united for any reason the coach shouldn't in my opinion face any judgement even though he has a big part to play in training, development and strategizing the game plan for each match yet players might training get the plan but play something different while on pitch.
Fact remains that Ten Hag is not responsible for the teams constantly losing their match even though his part of it but not just him the way people make it seem like his the cause of everything that Manchester united has been facing.

I agree with you, when a team loses, of course the coach cannot be blamed entirely because this is a sport that is a form of cooperation. Occasionally there are mistakes that are purely made by a player, but when a team loses, it does not mean it is entirely the coach's fault because the coach will certainly try his best for his team and the players must also be able to contribute well in order to win the match.
With a greater chance of winning for Manchester United compared to Southampton, I think Manchester United can indeed beat Southampton, but whether they will have difficulty or not facing Southampton, they will certainly do their best for their team in order to win.
