Exactly. They're nothing but full of hype. A perfect "playground" for scammers to grab some "easy money". The only fools are investors who buy such coins hoping to strike it rich in the future. DOGE for once reached a new ATH, only to see a massive downward trend after the hype faded away into oblivion. It was close to reaching $1, though.

If you want solid, reliable profits, choose Bitcoin or Ethereum instead. If people took the time to do a little research, they will realize what crypto is truly about. Most of the "meme" coins you see now, won't be around with us in the future. I think only Dogecoin will survive for obvious reasons. Nothing to see here, really. Cheesy

Totally hard to tell on whose gonna survive and whose not, because if we do really tend to look at on what are the things that needs up for a coin/token/meme will be able to survive then it would really be that depends
mostly on community support and a mix of hype.We've known that PEPE is really that a meme token of erc20 and still could possibly be able to all time highs but of course it would really be that something that cant be known on which considering that it will really be always basing up into those factors above that i have spoken on which this would really be able to determine in regarding about the survivability of the said token.

The expectations shouldn't be that high, I do agree.
It boils down to the hope that each person has in each coin, because there is no utility behind it.
Sure, there is a possibility that a coin will start to be shilled all around, and thus, its price would skyrocket - it's also possible that the coin would plummet due to the reasons you can't even think of (fraud, founders found guilty in something, etc).
It's risky, and it's up to everyone to decide whether to invest in such coins or not.
