I think that the best strategy to deal with spammers is to ignore them. There's a block button for a reason. We don't even need mods for this, just block any user you don't like and move on. Heck, you don't even need to block anyone when you can just ignore their existence.
You can’t really ignore them, there’s just too many. But since it’s so tough to get accepted into a campaign these days, most of these accounts are probably going to end up inactive. It’s way harder to join campaigns now compared to the past, and the growing competition is actually good for the forum.

But yeah, the main point is still about those people who genuinely want to improve and change.
Fun fact, there is a certain group of people on this forum who must be spammers in disguise. These people discuss nothing but gambling. They keep engaging in counter-productive discussions that serve no purpose other than apparently advertising the crypto gambling platforms they're affiliated with. I've stamped across a disproportionately high amount of old Legendary and Hero members of this forum who advertised these websites on their profile pictures and in their signatures. I even wonder if these accounts were sold at some point, and if these are real people or some AI bots. Yet for some reason their posts are not considered low quality...
Selling accounts isn’t really new, and if I remember right, it’s not prohibited but definitely discouraged by the forum rules. Especially if it’s a high-ranked account with trust....those are the ones that can easily be used for scamming. But anyway, back to the main topic since we’re talking about spam, not scams.

It all comes down to how campaign managers pick participants. Quality managers lead to quality participants.
