Igebotz and actmyname both have a very active list that keeps tabs on spammers. Some campaign managers make it a rule not to hire members with a tag from actmyname even though it’s just a neutral tag. I believe the spammer blacklist helps CMs to know what kind of account they are hiring.

Spammers can change and tags can be reversed. They just have to decide to be a genuine part of the forum and make meaningful contributions to forum discussions. 

I wouldn’t call all of them shitposters besides some of the accounts that have been tagged on the thread recently for funny posts have earned more merits than I have.
