I've seen some users who got tagged as spammers (even if it's just neutral tags) and I believe nothing is permanent you know? There's always a chance they can improve their posting style and be more engaging here.
With the efforts of DT members and mods keeping the forum clean and the competent signature campaign managers who don't just accept anyone anymore I think low-quality posters are starting to realize they need to step up their game. What's your take on this? Can they change or is a spammer always a spammer for life?
I think it all depends on how frequent the poster usually post in the forum. Because as time goes bye ,we begin to compare what we have been doing for long with that of others. Especially if people around are making quality posts. Quality things are not difficult to identify. If he keeps seeing and reading them, over time he will begin to compare his own and that of others. At that time if he realised that he has been posting trash and spamming, he will be motivated to change his posting pattern. I believe that spammers and shit posters have room for improvement and can become a good poster in the future. Sometimes there are certain things that needs time. Most of them have never been exposed to places like this. At the first stage they might be struggling to understand and familiarise themselves with the forum mode of operations.
