Generally, wealthy people don't like to display wealth because doing that alone put you at risk. You are worth billions of dollars and you want to flex muscle that you have such amount, you will either be a food of kidnappers or be food to critics and it's better you lay low and operate under the ground and your name will be heard anywhere they speak about you. If you check top rich men, many of them exhibit this character.

However, there are some of the rich people even as they want to make money and continue to grow richness, but they also flex and flaunt wealth. Some of them are very good in womanizing but I think generally poor man has the mentality of show off than any kind of person that exists. They are very good at fake life and some are just waiting to get that money so they let the world know they have made it which is very bad practice but it's general thing you see today.

I agree with you it will be very risky when someone has a lot of wealth and they choose to show off to others and it is very likely that they will be the target of someone's crime to control the wealth they have in various ways that criminals will do and this will of course make us feel threatened with security in living our lives and choose not to show off the wealth that we have, of course this is the right choice so that they can feel safe in living their lives without being the target of perpetrators who do not commit crimes against them.

I think anyone will continue to try to accumulate their wealth but only some people can succeed and on the other hand they fail because of various things they face, for some poor people will always show off their achievements because it becomes a pride for themselves because they have gone through a long process in achieving what they want but if they do too much of course this will making them add to their own problems.
