Kevin De Bruyne seems to have recovered from his injury and it is only a matter of time before he can return to the pitch but, making him a starter in the match against Newcastle is quite risky. It seems like a pretty good choice for Guardiola would be to play Gundogan, Kovacic, and Bernardo Silva as starters, and perhaps give De Bruyne some playing time in the second half.
Man City will most likely definitely aim for a win because previously they only got 1 point when playing against Arsenal. Even though Newcastle is not as strong as Arsenal but, they can be fierce when playing at home.
Manchester City is at a disadvantage, after De Bruyne recovered from his injury, Rodri entered the recovery queue. This makes it a little difficult for Pep Guardiola to determine the suitable players to set up attack patterns. As for De Bruyne, i agree that it would not be good to play him in the match against Newcastle, Newcastle is a strong team & for sure this match will have a lot of intensity in the process. It could be that when De Bruyne is played, he is back in the injury recovery queue in the sense that this is a risky match for him.
