Imo I will say we shouldn't allows market conditions affect our accumulation, because have seen some scenarios whereby some folks will be like wait don't accumulate much during bull market and wait for bear to accumulate, to me that's not the right way to go especially when bitcoin is involved. Because we all know that bitcoin is kinda expensive base on it's large market price so most people can actually purchase it once , instead they focus on accumulating by breaking it down in a form of DCAing purchasing.

So if one have the mindset of letting the market conditions affect their accumulation, it will only slow them down in reaching their accumulation goal . So is. Better to keep to your plan and your budget while you accumulate , as an bitcoin long-term investors.
