Hmmm... in normal quantities, both are harmless. But if you use them recklessly, then your health will get endangered. Alcohol consumption beyond a limit will destroy your liver, and over-consumption of weed will destroy your lungs.

that's why to gain the health affects of marijuana, you have to eat it (or vaporize it).

otherwise your really hurting your lungs

same with drinking
limit it to once a day.
