Yeah, that's the thing, marketing for casinos is the key, they simply make money with people using their system.

They only need people to bet, it doesn't really matter what it is that they are betting on, the house will always win, because they get to make up the rules.

The odds are always against the gambler.

In the case of gambling in games like dices and Plinko, sure, the house will always win in the long term and the odds are against us, otherwise gambling would be some kind of charity, instead a business model.
Though, you should not be much pessimistic when comes to betting in these political wacky markets, they house wins because of the small fee they take off the huge volume, but there are more chances to win from it, this why there are so many people interested in this coming presidential election in the United States.
So, don't look at betting as the house screwing you over by taking a fee, betting is about being more prepared to make accurate predictions on topics and sports you know very well, more than the average bettor.
