I don't think that there's much comparison between bull run and bear run, both of them are at the extreme end of each other. Preference among the two can change for an investor depending on what will be more profitable for him at any of the seasons. If you've accumulated enough Bitcoin during the bear run then you'll be looking forward to the bull run and it'll be your preference. On the other hand if you have funds to invest and you're looking for opportunities to load your bags for massive ROI on the long term then bear run will become your preference. But among the two seasons the one that makes most investors to be happy is bull run because price will skyrock and it's a time to harvest ROI.
Because both of them are part of the market world and we have to learn to live with both of them. There is no white without black and there is no good without bad. This is the same for the market, there is no bull without bear. We need to learn to live with both of them because the market only operates when we have both of them together, there is no preference, you can't like one of them and dislike the other.
I understand the most clearer answer would be "I like bull because I make money on bull period and lose money on bear period" but if you have just bull period, then it will always go up, without ever going down, so that wouldn't work. So, we need to like both of them and not have any issues ever, wouldn't be this much of a trouble at all. We need to learn to live with both of them together like I said. Bear isn't so bad, it gives you a chance to buy cheap, you may lose money on it and be sad if you sell, but if you buy then you will be happy that you will buy more later on as well.
