I've always advocated for responsible gambling in this forum and the best way to achieve it is by having a bankroll for it. If you have a budget for gambling and you're disciplined to stick to it, it wouldn't matter if you're winning or losing, when the amount is exhausted you'll quit for the day. It's important that the amount that you budget for gambling should be what you can afford to loose, so you wouldn't put too much of your income on what depends on luck to win or be profitable. This is my strategy to avoid being addicted to gambling and it's working very fine for me.

Set a specific bankroll before gambling is necessary to prevent over budget. We can easily tempts to continue playing gambling so when we cannot set the budget, we can spends too much money. That can make us think that we still have money and we can use it to gambling and no limitations to control us. That can also attract more problem such as gambling addiction because when we playing gambling over and over, our minds will set that gambling is important to us. We can return to casino many times without think how much money we already lost. Have a limitation in bankroll and with other things can help us to stay aware from continuing gambling so we can enjoy gambling as a fun.
