AS Roma could not perform consistently whether in Serie-A or Europa League matches, showing that they still could not perform optimally, indeed in Serie-A they still got good results several times but there were many mistakes and setbacks in almost every match so that this triggered a less than optimal performance in the Europa League.
Next AS Roma will face Dynamo Kyiv which is one of the strongest teams in the Ukrainian League but this is home match for AS Roma and of course on paper they have the advantage to win even though it is not guaranteed.
If in this match AS Roma can really win then it is good development as Ivan Juric said about the increasing quality, there are many team that are quite weak and not so popular in the Europa League so that it opens up many opportunities for several European team including AS Roma.
