[...] This is going to be a new chapter for the club as they will have more money to get good players for the club and manage the team properly. Funny enough the Riyadh Air Metropolitano has been sponsoring Atletico since last season but it was just revealed suddenly admist the new contract signing on Wednesday. The contract is said to last until 2033
It's not big money to bring in top players, but at least with that money they have more power to bring in some players in the next transfer window. Atletico are currently in third place, above them are Barcelona and Real Madrid, with that money can we expect them to at least finish in second place?
The answer is of course no, because their competitors will definitely be more prepared in the upcoming transfer window, especially for Real Madrid who lost many players & i think their squad depth is still lacking.
In my opinion, with that much money they can focus on the academy team and also the existing players and use the money not only to spend it, because Atl. Madrid also has great players but unfortunately they are not stable in playing whether winning, losing or drawing, in my opinion with that much money they should target a well-known coach to create a new strategy in their camp, because if you look at the squad they have there is nothing lacking but in my opinion Atl. Madrid is too obsessed with the coach so that their achievements are lacking and currently they are in 3rd position and yesterday they were held to a draw by Real Sociedad.
In my opinion, apart from investing in better players, they also take care of or facilitate their academy players so that young players can easily enter the squad, currently they rarely promote academy players and in my opinion they should focus on that because we know that young players from Spain are currently quite good in their development if so they will be able to make that money without having to waste money buying many players and spending it on things that should not be.
