Real Madrid has always favoured the champions league over the la liga title therefore it isn't today that they stop showing more concerns to the league games. There isn't too many competitions in La liga as there's in the champions league therefore, Real Madrid know that if they don't play well, they still can get the second position which is a good result as it qualifies them for another season of champions league and it isn't bad if they lose the league title as they have the champions league which is the biggest trophies in club games. I would had loved it if Real Madrid would be playing as well as they do in the champions league, in leagues games.

I think the La Liga and Champions League titles are equally important for Madrid. It doesn't matter whether they play well or not in La Liga compared to when they play in the Champions League. In fact, you can see that even though Madrid is currently in 2nd place, they are still undefeated. Their points are indeed different, but they can still be caught up.
The problem this season for Ancelotti's squad is that some players are injured. Even though Madrid has quite a lot of quality players, we can't avoid the fact that the injuries of some important players will affect Madrid's performance.
