I was really disappointed with the performance of the referee from Oman in that match. Since the beginning of the match I saw indications of cheating by the referee. Of course I can't judge him because I'm from Indonesia and the referee understands the rules of football better. However, Bahrain's second goal really didn't make sense. The referee gave 6 minutes of additional time and in the 6th minute the referee didn't end the match but waited for Bahrain to attack from their defense line. I wouldn't have been disappointed if Bahrain scored in the 90+5 minute but they scored in the 90+9 minute. He reminded me of the referee who cheated Italy in the 2002 World Cup.

After reading too much about this game and few things about referee who was supervising in this game I watch highlights of this game and feeling sorry for the Indonesian team and their fans because surely they deserve to have win in this game with referee were biased and his many decisions were completely wrong which needed to be rechecked with now in coming games we also need to have referee from third region of Asia as we have game between Indonesia vs Bahrain here why they have referee from Oman they needed from Central Asia or another region who can do much better.

We have few things in AFC Asian soccer which are killing the spirit of the game but sadly due to have personal issues and many other problems no one going to fix them which are surely not good deal but good thing for the Indonesia they are still had good chance of going into next round as their next game is against China which is currently worst team in this group and Indonesia can beat them with have chance of jumping above.
