Alot here and i actually agree with you on some things but not all.

First yes i believe we are reincarnated in some way im not sure how it works it seems to skip a generation or two but we deffo come back its as if we can meld with one or two minds to become something new its actually amazing. I also agree that we inherit alot from our parents and past generations which is why its so important that our partners do their best to look after their children imo.

Now where i disagree is on genetic purity what even does that mean. All creatures want to adapt and evolve and get better that is they do not want purity at all the result of all those royals you mentioned was that their children where inbred , mentally ill , sickly and often then not led to the downfall of their dynasty.

Legacy planning is an important job and society has made it so most people don't focus on it as much as they should.
