It’s not as simple as posting, “Hey, find me a person to fix the game, I’ll pay.” That’s not how it works. These syndicates are smart—they prefer verbal communication to leave no trace if an investigation happens.

In most cases, the people who pay for the game to be manipulated are people with great financial and political power or who have great power in sports. This way, they can pressure the players and referees who are involved in the scheme and not report anything wrong to them. When some cases reach the press, the players and referees are always the ones who get blamed. That's why when I read posts on the internet from people asking how they can access the fixed game schemes, I laugh. Because that's really stupid. The guy who is on the internet asking this has no idea that he is getting involved in something that could result in years in prison.
