'Financial help' requests aren't "uncommon" on this forum. There's a channel for financial-related topics like "Lending" in Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Lending(link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=65.0). However, as much as we understand the hardship you're going through, there's not much we can do (unless there are very generous members in this forum) since we all have our own problems.

Regarding whether this channel is the right channel for this subject, probably not, but it's alright; you're new to this forum.

Regarding you getting scammed and looking for help from members of this forum, like I've mentioned earlier, we all got problems too. For example, like most people on this forum (I believe), I am also a victim to a scam. Instead of $500, it was couple grand. I was thinking to doing what you did here and write up what happened to me but I realized that it's pointless, really, to mention getting scammed. Majority here have gotten scammed and although it's devastating, they don't just rely on 'help' from a forum just because it felt appropriate to.

We all(hopefully) sympathize with you, but there isn't much to do but to tell you 'suck it up, buttercup.'

Be more cautious of scams, and I hope your situation gets better soon, fam.

I understand that many members have also gone through difficult experiences, and I do not expect people to solve my problems. I am simply looking for advice and support, even small contributions, to help me get through this tough time.
