I don't really blame those who gamble just to make profit because it is ignorance that makes one to feel gambling can be as a medium to generate money. For one to be able to gamble normal without being so addicted to gambling, it is either the person has good source of income whereby their is no need to depend in gambling for profit or their is a clear understanding of gambling of what it is. It is so sad that some people rush into gambling thinking that it is what they go into for profit and come out from it easily. People who become addicted to gambling never thought it will be that way for them, they only become victim because of lack of understanding.
It's more like a lack of self-control and patience than a lack of understanding, in my opinion. I say that because I don't believe that a person who gets into gambling doesn't know that gambling is all about risks, and there are only two outcomes, you either win or lose, and winning doesn't have a higher percentage which makes it clear that one cannot make money constantly from it. If despite knowing that someone gets addicted to it by trying to generate an income from it, it is either because they are crazy or they lack patience.
Someone getting into something, be it gambling or anything in general, and using their money in it should at least understand what they are getting into. You can't start spending money on something without knowing what you are doing because that isn't what a sane person would do because earning money is not an easy thing to do, and wasting hard-earned money is painful for the person who has worked hard for it.
