It’s not just ignorance that makes people gamble for money - trust me there are people out there that know all the dangers and risks that are associated with gambling for the sake of making a living off of it but still go ahead and do it anyway.

It’s one thing to know something and another thing to be able to carry it out. There are also people that knows so much about the danger of gambling addiction but still are addicted to gambling it’s not just something that’s easy - if you’re not disciplined then this knowledge won’t help you in anyway.

Agreed, a whole library of knowledge is always ready to support but many people still cannot realize the extent of all the advice, their attention is not mostly on the danger, they only pay more attention to the method and how to exchange money after winning but that is where the seeds of a habit are sown and enjoy a long journey of failure and addiction, enlightenment is a habit when one has reached the end of failure, giving up is the way but forever recovering is something that cannot be obtained.

More on how to practice and how serious a person will be in terms of avoiding repeating that same mistake, there are people who can overcome their addictions by trying hard to find alternative activities that will keep their mind busy, while for some they need help from friends and relative to the point of having professionals to help them coping and leaving gambling for good, while other who's not that addicted yet will just find it not entertaining to lose money and will just forget about it completely.
