I completely disagree. You can't diminish yourself, saying only women, children, and dogs receive love. Everybody deserves and receives live in different capacity. While it's true men often don't show vulnerability and emotions, bottling them up and pretending everything is fine, this doesn't mean they don't receive love.
Men receive loves because they bring something to the table and always able to fulfill every needs from their wife and children.Since you disagree with me, I would like to know your background first before I create an another argument.
1. Are you a male or female? if you answer female, you can skip the rest of the questions.
2. Are you in relationship? a partner or a wife? how long it's been?
3. Do you have kids?
4. Do you earn minimum salary in your country or above average?
5. Have you ever in your lowest point when you're in relationship? like lose jobs and have no savings/ended up in debt.
Why do you want to impress others? may be to have a stature in their eyes, which is linked with achievement and power.

Honestly I have no intention to impress others, but after I know if we need to have something in order to have a partner, it means we need to catch that. But, I still have an another option, which is being alone and die alone.
