I could be wrong about this as I'm not from New York, but isn't Wall St a really touristy area, especially in May?

The event could take place in Times Square, but the following media would not make the powerful association with Wall St. To the average person, 'Wall St' signifies wealth and power. If the event is successful and mainstream media picks it up, that is an excellent association to make for the people that it will reach.
