It is very simple. Indian curators once again prepared a dust bowl, thinking that New Zealand batsmen would crumble against Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. But they forgot the fact that New Zealand also have some very good spinners such as Mitchell Santner and Ajaz Patel. Both the experienced and new batsmen struggled against Kiwi spinners. Similar to what happened with Bangladesh, in the end the doctored track backfired on the Indians and New Zealand managed to whitewash the series.

I agree with your view about this series but here we have another point as I was also reading on different sites about new generation Indian batsmen are not good enough to ace spinners because few years back these guys were best in this business, but now things are taking changes, and we are having troubling time for them to face quality spinners.

I still have strong feeling New Zealand spinners are not near in quality with Indians and Sri Lankan, but they have done good job in this series and make history on Indian soil now it's time for the Indian management to have checked their domestic system for having quality batsmen those can give their best in home conditions because now Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul gone, so all burden is on new generation after this BGT which will be surely not easy for them as their next biggest challenge is English tour as well.
