Local regulation said that the participation of minors in any type of gambling game is strictly prohibited. Gambling machines are included in these games prohibited for minors.
Also those machines should need some kind of permit to be operated, I ask "just by curiosity" to the corner store owner if they have some kind of permit for those machines and the response was "NO" they just receive some percentage of the gains as form of rent, the owner of the machines keep the rest. I bet that the owner of the gambling machines doesn't have any permit for it. But even if they have some permit, since they are allowing that kids play on them, all those people are breaking the law
How brazen for the store owners to operate gambling machines without permit and even allow children to play. Here in our country, there is a very stiff penalty if you run this kind of machine and allow young people to play. This is corruption of minors, and its considered a criminal case. I'm sure there is protection money involved here so the operators can continue to run these machines.
We parents should check all our children's activities when they are outside, for all we know they are already addicted to this kind of game, and we are not aware of it.
