If you might recall (I believe prior to your arrival on the forum), when the forum shut down the WO thread, and then we had a vote to reopen the thread and to have Infofont as the new owner, one of the new conditions that theymos put on the thread was that signatures would not show on this thread.

I personally did not agree with that rule, yet you might recognize that one of the reasons that this thread has relaxed posting requirements is in order to allow the thread to be a bit of a free-for-all, yet at the same time, the removal of the showing of signatures in this thread (and the economic incentives that come with signatures) seems to be a way to disincentivizing the trolling of this thread based on economic incentives associated with signatures. The policy regarding no signatures in this WO thread does seem to be working, so I doubt that theymos would change the rule (or allow signatures in this thread) anytime soon.

I was a only reader at that time but I know about the signature ban.

To further elaborate on this, the main point of margin trading for me is that you can get additional bitcoin exposure even if you're balls deep, all-in, with no significant fiat left. Note that it isn't necessary to leverage above 1:1 at all. Even 1:20 leverage will do - say, a 0.05 btc order when you have 1 btc in the trading account. In fact, it's preferable to keep the leverage as low as possible because that limits liquidation risk.

Sounds scary to me, since I never seem to develop very much confidence that at any point in the short run the odds are much better than 50/50 that the BTC price is going to go up rather than down, yet it seems that in the long run the BTC has pretty good chances of going up and it has ended up going up in the ballpark of about 89.7x for me, so I am not sure what benefit that I have in risking my hard earned BTC in order to want to get even higher returns than I had already been getting and expecting to get, even if my returns hadn't been as high as they ended up going.

For example, I probably would be more than giddy over 8.97x returns so the actual facts of getting 10x higher is like icing on the cake of satisfaction in the sense that bitcoin has been confirming that it is "designed to pump forever," so why try to get even more happier? Is it even possible to be more happier than 89.7x profits in 11-ish years?

It's a good feeling.. especially when some guys are fairly early in their bitcoin journey and they had been focused on accumulating bitcoin aggressively for a decent amount of time, and even if you had not accumulated aggressively for your whole 3.5 year forum registration time, you said that you upped your accumulation at some point a while back.. so it is nice to see that your focused attention is showing solid results... and also that you don't seem to be distracted by shitcoins either.. that is a second-level of bonus that some guys have a difficult time avoiding such distraction, even though they have known about bitcoin for a decently long time.
