You're right. Although Man City performance is decreasing significantly in the last few matches, Man City should be one of the strongest candidates to win UCL. Man City has good squad and Man City has a smart coach, they has good experience in UCL as well. There should be no doubt about the chance of Man City to win the UCL trophy. Manchester City are currently going through their bad times in the season and their performance is not as expected from them when playing from both leagues competition they’re participating in. They have a lot on them to do if they want to be champions or even make it to the finals of the champions league competition. They have a lot of potential in them, but they seem to have lost focus and many teams have also known there weak point and also using that to their own advantage to beat them in their matches. Many of the big teams one can envision for the champions league title are currently playing poorly, we may know with time if they can make it to the finals of the competition as the league progresses to the second round.

Real Madrid may be facing hard times in the champions league competition but I haven’t seen them that weak to the extent that they can’t win their upcoming match against slot boys. These moments are times they really need to take advantage on to help settle for the losses they’ve incurred earlier in the competition. Even with their second tier team, I don’t see this team having a chance on them. Injuries may affect their performance in the field, but they’re still better, stronger and more qualified than their opponent.
