Nope, of course i don't earn money through parenting.
In my job, which i started three years ago, there is a simple rule: If you are good, you get moar. And the job, anytime, following conditions of my own choice (home office when i want it, and no deadline nags). EDIT: I worked about 6 months per year, on average, a few hours each day.
