I get what’s wrong with your Ledger but you can try updating the device maybe theirs is a latest firmware. If the wallet still shows the coins are still their then it is not moved and can easily be restored on another wallet

But should the problem persists then you can simply use other wallets like electrum or any other reputable wallet on an airgapped device or you can still go for another hardware wallet and move your funds their as ledger device isn’t even advice of recent for use due to their seed phrase recovery process

if by Wallet you mean the Ledger device
My concern is that the funds are not on the wallet/Ledger device somehow as when I check this wallet on ledger live on a new phone the wallet total shows as 0.00

I can only see the actual total on my original phone
but the live account doesnt recognise my Ledger device
