Look at the previous season, he was a top scorer, in 2022 he scored 27 goals and become the best player in Lyon, in 2023 he scored 19 goals and become the second best player in Lyon. 10 Million Euros is worth it, especially Real Madrid really need a striker.

It's high likely just a rumor, Amorim is too aggressive and want to sign any players he likes, he should sign underrated players instead of overrated players. When the players are from England, Brazil and France, the price went up to 2-10x than other players with similar performance.
