Good points Sir. That's really a gambling addict if they show signs of that. Those who lie because they don't have money left, all wasted in gambling, they will try to create some money out of making stories like they lost it somewhere, or they were robbed by someone. Those are a green signal a person is a gambling excessively.
I think they cannot control those emotions because they are letting what happened to them to be the factor on how they will react on everything. A little mistake will be bigger for them when they lose, and a little fun could be laughable to them when they win. To sum it up, it's not normal anymore.

Yes. It's easy to recognize a gambling addict, right?
In this story, I just want to ask you that. For example, if you find out that person is addicted to gambling and that person is your relative. He makes every excuse to borrow your money. What would you do in that situation?

I have been in that kind of situation before, I will say that I will not lend him any money, because I know that he will just go and gamble that money and you don't have any assurance that you will be paid.

Lend him the money he needs, or pretend you don't have any money and don't interfere in his life (don't stop him, ignore him so he can have the freedom to gamble). Or will you lead and treat him out of this gambling addiction?

He doesn't want to be help, or at least that's what I got from him, and now this guys is out of business and out of money and for sure he has problems with his wife and kids too. But how can you extend your hands and help when the gamblers himself doesn't want to be help? So it's a dilemma on our end, on the other hand we wanted to aid him, but then again, it should start from the gamblers themselves to initiate that interference.
