I would set goals, but lower than I would actually like, because failure to achieve goals can lead us to excessive reflection and anxiety, and also cause lack of sleep, although it is not worth it. At first I wanted to say that you do not need to set goals in gambling, but then I remembered my experience in poker and there the professionals advised to definitely set goals in order to know what to strive for, so setting goals is probably right. But on the other hand, it seems strange to me where almost everything depends on luck.
