I would have to agree poker is just as much up to chance as a slot machine playing the hand you are dealt but the real fun part of the game is trying to read through someone's bluff. I've also never heard about there being a math element to poker but I suppose it would have to be more of probability math if I were to guess.
On the other one about casino games being rigged I wouldn't say they are fully rigged because then nobody would keep playing and that would mess up the whole groove of things but I would say that the house definitely has the edge.
There are many different factors in poker other than luck, from the honesty of the dealer to the player's ability to win even with bad cards. That's why I never considered poker a game similar to slot machines, it's a completely different game.
