I thought that I already addressed this several times, and in essence the idea is that I use the presumption of any forum member's registration date as the date that they started in BTC, unless they clarify their situation more specifically, and surely none of us can remember details of other forum members, so from my point of view it is way better to specifically outline the timeline so that there is one less variable to deal with rather than coming out with some waffling and vague and nonspecific statement that does not mean anything so it seems way better to try to put some parameters on our hypotheticals when possible rather than discussing vague and meaningless hypotheticals.

Another thing is that a lot of the post should not devolve too much into personal circumstances anyhow, so whatever start date we are discussing can tend to be a parameter and not really very personal.

By the way some forum members come out punching and swinging and bragging about whatever strategy they are doing and/or recommending, and it is pretty fucking rare that whatever their dumbass proposed strategy (frequently involving trading) is going to actually beat a long term strategy that focuses mostly on ongoing, persistent and consistent BTC accumulation. So even if a forum member does not want to provide their specific performance as compared to a straight-forward accumulation strategy (they almost never do), at least they can consider whatever dumb shit they are talking about (including trading ideas) in light of long term BTC DCA accumulation strategies.., which is almost always better to plug some kind of a date in there rather than just fucking around trying figure out it could be 1 month or it could be 6 years.. blah blah blah nonsense.

Let's pick a date, and if the date is wrong, then the person being described can clarify if the time is longer or shorter or if there might be some exigent circumstances/details that he might want to mention to clarify his particular situation.

Sure it is true that there are some forum members who have been registered years and years and years, and hardly know shit about bitcoin, and there hardly aren't any ways to know except to perhaps interact a bit with the forum member, and surely some members spend a lot of time with shitcoins and in the gambling section of the forum too, and I suppose if I or anyone else might make wrong assumptions then the other member has full rights to clarify any wrong assumptions, especially if they are engaging in good faith then they should not have any issues to interact about various topics. Sure, I understand that there are a lot of trolls and shills too.. and so many of those members will not interact, but that's o.k..... I still prefer to get into specifics and even presume that we have adults with various basic levels of knowledge.. .. and they can specificy their situation if my characterizations are not at least somewhere in the ballpark.

Another thing that I like to presume is that an overswhelming number of regular people hardly have any investments at all and most are low coiners or no coiners, and sure we have higher level of coiners in the forum, but I am not going to necessarily presume than any member has been investing aggressively into bitcoin since their forum registration date, so that is why we can presume within a range that would fall somewhere between whimpy and aggressive... and if the situation needs clarification, then the other forum member can clarify. I have not tended to be shy about my own history, at least describing some parameters around what I have done and what I have been doing even though I might not give all the details out of some OPSec concerns.

So even you, you ONLY have a bit over a year of forum registration, so you might want to say something about yourself and whatever that you might have had been doing in regards to your bitcoin accumulation or your bitcoin situation in that little over a year period or if your relevant period is longer or shorter than your forum registration date... to the extent any of that might be relevant to any points that you might be wanting to make or perhaps you might want to present one or two hypothetical persons and to make comparisons of them in order to make such points.

Bitcoin does not have a president and does not need any government or any leader. Anyone, including Trump or the USA govt or any other govt, trying to put themselves as bitcoin leader will likely find themselves in conflict with the decentralized aspects of bitcoin and potentially cause tensions and/or forks.

In other words, politicians and governments need bitcoin. Bitcoin does not need them.

Surely there are going to be some politicians, bankers, governments and/or other rich folks or conglomerates that are going to try to co-opt, control and/or change bitcoin to their personal benefits, and hopefully they are called out before doing too much damage, yet surely there are potentials for forks when these kinds of dynamics end up getting employed by small groups trying to change bitcoin without some kind of reasonable and/or likely messy process of achieving consensus.

That is a lame post since Satoshi is likely dead.. so any extraordinary claims that any of his coins having had been sold or moved (by him) need to be accompanied by extraordinary evidence rather than bare assertions that hardly have any evidence at all.
